On Thursday, October 3, 2024, we proudly hosted our second Logistics & Delivery Lunch Event, an afternoon entirely dedicated to the theme of safe and sustainable driving. With a delicious lunch, engaging presentations, and a successful networking reception, we look back on a valuable and inspiring event.
At this edition, we were pleased to welcome several inspiring speakers. Onno de Looff, COO of MyPup, shared his insights on making their delivery operations more sustainable with electric vehicles and parcel lockers in major cities. He gave us a glimpse into the challenges and successes of their approach and shared how they keep their delivery drivers motivated and effectively manage their driving behavior.
Kim Overtoom of YoungCapital introduced us to the world of the current generation of delivery drivers. With her interactive session, she provided creative solutions for staffing challenges and practical tips for motivating and retaining delivery drivers. Her session provided many new insights for our guests.
Joel Wetterhahn, EV Solutions Strategist at Webfleet and Melle Sprenger from RoutiGo concluded the afternoon. Together, they presented the latest software solutions for energy-efficient and safe driving. They also inspiringly demonstrated how positive reinforcement and motivation can contribute to improving driver behavior.
The afternoon concluded with a festive award ceremony following the interactive session with Kim Overtoom, followed by a networking reception where experiences and ideas were freely exchanged over drinks and snacks.
We are already looking forward to the next edition of our Logistics & Delivery Lunch Event in April 2025. Curious about the speakers and the program? Keep an eye on our channels for more information and sign up early, as this event also promises to be another valuable afternoon!
