AI Engineer (Full-stack)

You’re the type of person who spends their evening setting up an agent just to handle your own email. You’ve got five MCP servers running before most developers even know what MCP is. And you truly believe that AI isn't just a feature, but a new way of building software. Great, because we believe that too. And we’re looking for someone to make that happen at RoutiGo—not in slides, but in code that’s in production tomorrow.

Your role

  • Build, don't talk. You’ll implement LLM features in our product—from agents that suggest routes to copilots that take the load off our customer service team. End-to-end: from API call to UI.

  • Full-stack, for real. You’ll work on both the backend (Kotlin, Spring Boot, MySQL, Kubernetes—or the parts where AI takes over) and the frontend (React, TypeScript). You don’t mind spending one day in one and the next in the other.

  • Agents and MCP architecture. You’ll help design the agent layer of RoutiGo OS. Pyramid structures, tool-use, evals, guardrails—you either know what these are or are ready to master them at lightning speed.

  • Accelerating internal AI adoption. It’s not just our product that gets smarter; our entire company does. You’ll build internal tooling (sales, support, ops) that makes colleagues 10x faster. Claude Code, Cursor, custom workflows—you introduce them and drive them forward.

  • Evals and reliability. AI that works only sometimes isn't AI that works. You’ll build the tests, monitoring, and feedback loops that allow us to confidently promise it always works.

  • Co-architecting. You’ll sit down with Melle (CTO) and Erik (Head of Product) to shape what RoutiGo OS looks like. Your opinions count from day one.

Experience & Skills

  • 3+ years of building experience as a developer—back-end focused, but you don't shy away from front-end work (React/TypeScript).
    ‍
  • Hands-on with LLMs. You have worked with OpenAI/Anthropic/open source APIs yourself. Not just once. A lot.
    ‍
  • Agent-thinking. You understand the difference between a prompt and a system. You know why evals are more important than demos.
    ‍
  • A builder mindset. You don't hide behind tickets. If you see something that can be improved, you build it.
    ‍
  • Bonus: experience with Kotlin/Spring Boot, Kubernetes, vector databases, MCP, or a background in logistics/routing.
