ADZaagt cuts custom sheet material and delivers it daily throughout the Netherlands and Flanders with its own drivers. To prevent damage, the parts are unloaded by hand. Previously, the routes were planned manually, which took a lot of time and gave little overview. Adjusting deliveries was cumbersome and customers had to be called for a time indication.
Overview by day, automatic communication
Since the switch to RoutiGo, the team immediately sees which region is being driven that day. Routes are released in advance and linked to the driver. Customers automatically receive a track & trace with a clear time window. Previously, this time indication was given by phone one day in advance, without insight into traffic or weather conditions. Delays therefore regularly led to phone calls from customers who wondered where their order was. AdZaagt then had to first call the driver to find out where he was driving, and then call the customer back with a new delivery time — a cumbersome and impractical process. Now planners can see where the driver is in real time, and customers are proactively and automatically informed about the delivery time of their order.
